As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we cannot do it alone. While we are funded by the Texas Department of Family Protection Services, we also depend on the community to help with local business donations and personal donations.

Objectives & Commitments

Youth in Excellence was established with the aim of offering a secure, nurturing, and compassionate haven for boys and girls aged 12 to 18 facing challenges stemming from family trauma, behavioral issues, academic struggles, emotional turbulence, and backgrounds marred by abuse and neglect. Our dedication lies in the following:

  1. Collaborating with residents to foster discipline, cooperation, and vital social skills.
  2. Tailoring assessments to identify individual needs, promoting personal growth, and addressing specific problem areas.
  3. Providing academic support, including necessary tutoring, to aid residents in improving their school performance.
  4. Enriching emotional well-being through both individual and group counseling sessions.
  5. Catering to each resident’s unique needs to establish a robust foundation centered around mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
